Biography:

I started using Linux in 1998 at University when a friend (a Debian user) helped me to do a net install of Red Hat Linux 5. From this point I've progressed through a number of distributions including Gentoo and Debian. In 2004 I was at the Linux Expo in London to man the Flightgear stand, I was given a boxed set of SUSE 8.x. Shortly afterwards I installed SUSE 9.0 FTP CD set and I've been using SUSE ever since.

When possible I submit bug fixes and patches to any Linux distribution when I encounter a problem.

I publish my personal developments to Github (Python Studio Library, VirtualStop, KCam...) and the Build Service. I'm currently developing a demonstrator for a Database and ORM layer for large Product Data and working on some improvements for VirtualStop (which I use to commute to work).

Linux and software programming is not currently part of my day job.
